the third floor mountain view room was exceptional, exceeding my expectations for a city break in Lijiang. The spacious rooms were comfortable, with all necessary facilities. The hotel’s location on the edge of town granted us access to beautiful vistas and allowed us to fully unwind and escape the hustle and bustle of the city.

One downside of the location was that we needed to take a 30-minute taxi ride to reach the nearby town and explore its historic attractions. we found the sprawling nature of the property a bit impersonal, as we needed to use a golf cart to get around different areas of the hotel.
